The Warm Hub
The Gwaenysgor Warm Hub is held every Wednesday morning between 10.00am – 1.00pm. It provides an opportunity for local people to meet over tea, coffee and cakes. It is a social, friendly and welcoming morning, where locals can meet, catch-up & share.
Originally set up as a warm environment for people during last winter’s heating crisis, it proved so popular with the residents it has been extended to this winter.
A voluntary donation is requested to help fund this project and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The Warm Hub also provides additional support which is helpful to residents including, as part of the ‘well-fed’ initiative, a mobile shop providing basics & pre-prepared meal options from as little as £2.00 also visits the Hub.
