Trelawnyd Today
Nestled in the shelter of Gop Hill, Trelawnyd Village remains, very much, a tight knit rural community.
The village infrastructure includes a much used and recently renovated Village Hall (which amongst other things provides a weekly post office facility, a meeting place for the famous Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir and is a venue for nationally well-known folk musicians).
The Village also has two working Chapels, an active Church, a thriving Primary School and a popular Village pub.
The village is situated in a recognised “Area of National Beauty” and also boasts many scenic and much used local walks and trails.
Trelawnyd has an active Conservation Group, a large over 60s friendship group and boasts a “Traditional” annual Flower Show, which has been running over 40 years now.
In recent years an annual “Open Allotment Day” at the Church Glebe has proved to be popular and the village held a Jubilee Carnival and country Fair in 2012.
